Meghan Markle Wore a Symbolic Outfit for Her Oprah Interview

Mark your calendars: Oprah’s very-anticipated job interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is set to air on Sunday. It arrives hot on the heels of other key information from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex just two weeks in the past: their baby #2 announcement. Though we’re now 6 times out from the job interview, the network has kindly shared a small preview to whet our urge for food.

In the preview, Markle is sporting a gown by Armani embellished with a lotus flower, earrings by Canadian model Birks (which she’s worn numerous situations), and a necklace by British designer Pippa Smaller. She is also putting on a bracelet that belonged to the late Princess Diana for the reason that the pair wanted to involve her in the interview. How sweet is that?

Never forget the specifics of her outfit: The lotus is a image of rebirth and revival, paralleling the couple’s reemergence in their manufacturer-new article-royal everyday living.  Markle also involved jewelry makes from both equally Canada and Britain, which are the two Commonwealth countries she’s lived in. And last of all, wearing Princess Diana’s bracelet is these types of a thoughtful and individual gesture.

In a push launch, CBS spelled out what to hope from the plan. “In the two-hour exclusive, Oprah speaks with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, in a extensive-ranging job interview, covering every little thing from stepping into life as a royal, relationship, motherhood, and philanthropic work, to how she is managing everyday living beneath intense community tension,” the statement claimed. “Afterwards, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they discuss about their shift to the United States and their long term hopes and dreams for their expanding loved ones.”
